I'd love to know if anybody is having better luck with packing this software for network deployment. I recommend uninstalling it as soon as you've finished installing the rest. Oh yeah that Avid Application Manager I mentioned earlier. A bad installer chain jumping between 32bit and 64bit locations it seeams. but it doesn't work when run under the "nt authority\system" context. Sibelius 8for macOS is one of the best music notation programs for creating all types of music and sounds. Sibelius now comes with a handy instructions for silent network installs. I think Avid need to employ better programmers for their value reducing junkware.Ģ. When I say death by temporary files I mean it generates temporary files it's doesn't clean up every 4 mins until there is not space on the system drive anymore.
This seems to be better in a beta version of 2.5.10 Avid support provided. Avid Application Manager doesn't work behind proxy servers and causes death by Eclipse-Jetty webapp temporary files in versions 2.5.8 and 2.5.9. I've been having nightmare trying to get it working with PSAppDeployToolkit providing a handy wrapper script to help fix some of the install issues. So how is everyone else finding packaging Sibelius 8?
